Uterine prolapse is where the muscles holding the uterus in place weaken and the uterus womb) falls out through the vagina. It is thought to be suffered by 600000 women in Nepal. It is mainly caused by hard physical work too soon after childbirth. Uterine prolapse is entirely preventable , easily reversed at stage 1, and horribly painful and shameful to the Nepalese Women affected. Health workers and genuine public awareness is urgently needed.

Maybe the rich American doctors could utilize their free time more effectively by helping these poor women instead of marketing elaborate BS web sites and you tube videos.

! American Doctors and I might say Americans Help these poor Countries but the Rich people get the benefit and poor suffer always.

@chikapuli I agree!! However, doctors have the wealth, knowledge, and resources to help. Only very few are involved with programs like Doctors Without Borders which I do support. I don’t know why we as Americans, especially women in this particular case, don’t do more to help. We should be ashamed!

It’s laughable that you blame Americans for all the world’s ills.

strange comments on my video below… if you look up the stats , you will see that American private donors are far and away the most generous in the world per capita.. and the US govt is easily the most generous in absolute terms, but not in per capita terms…. rather than moaning about who isnt doing enough.. do something yourself .. email me and I can put you in touch with the right people.

What’s so special about American doctors? Japanese, French, or Russian doctors would all be just the same except they are closer to Nepal.

There is a communist government in place out to steal from the rich to train the doctors and the hospitals needed for the poor.
#14 by AntifaAustralia on April 21, 2010 - 8:15 pm
@MultiNelson69 in america doctors cannot even take care of their own people. In fact communist 3rd world cuba has a higher life expectancy and lower infant mortality rate.

@ramstorp270 Why american doctors? cant you train nepalese ones? The haiti crisis saw not many US doctors but poor Cuban doctors exported there, yes, cuban 3rd world doctors they trained themselves.
America is a shit ignorant nation, they cannot even take care of their own people.

@vodka041147
You can stop laughing. I wasn’t blaming Americans. Only suggesting that we could do more to help.
