People who suffer from panic attacks know the attacks can be completely debilitating. These people need to have a better attitude towards themselves, and realize that the panic attacks are out of their control. It is important for sufferers to set realistic hopes for stopping their panic attacks, and decrease the frequency of attacks by limiting contact with the situations that cause them. It is also important to prevent smoking, drinking, and caffeine use, as they are known to increase a person chance of having a panic attack.
